  • This friendly, practical 3-hour Paediatric First Aid Skills for Parents course, written by Emberiza Mini’s, is designed to give parents, carers, and expectant families the confidence to respond calmly and effectively to common childhood emergencies.

Created specifically for parents, the course focuses on real-life situations you may face at home, out and about, or during play. Using clear language, hands-on practice, and supportive instruction, we break down essential first aid skills so they are easy to understand and remember — no medical background required.

During the course, parents will learn how to:

    • Respond to emergencies safely and confidently

    • Manage choking in infants, children and adolescents

    • Perform CPR for infants, children and adolescents

    • Deal with burns, bleeding and head injuries

    • Recognise and respond to febrile seizures

    • Understand and respond to paediatric emergencies

Our approach is calm, reassuring, and practical, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and practise skills in a relaxed environment. The course reflects Emberiza Mini’s commitment to empowering families with knowledge that supports children’s safety and wellbeing.

By the end of the session, parents will leave feeling informed, prepared, and confident in their ability to act when it matters most.
