Our family business began in 2018 when my dad, Keith Bunting, founded Keith Bunting Social Care. After several years of steady growth—and navigating the challenges of COVID—the company began to expand into new areas.

After completing two years of college studying Forensics, and following the birth of my daughter, I made the decision to join the family business. I built our first website and began supporting the company while starting university, where I am now in my third year of a four-year degree in Health Care with Health Sciences.

As our roles within the business grew, we rebranded to Emberiza Training Services Ltd to reflect our family’s shared involvement. “Emberiza” comes from the genus of birds known as the “Bunting ” a fitting tribute to our family name.

In 2025, after working in administration for several years, I decided to take the next step and train as an instructor. I enrolled on my Award in Education and Training, completed the required assignments and preparation, and by December 2025 I became a qualified First Aid, Paediatric First Aid, and AED instructor. My next goal is to add Pet First Aid to the list!

I created Emberiza Mini’s to continue working within the family brand while offering something more focused on the community: affordable family first aid classes. My aim is to provide small, friendly, local sessions that make essential first aid skills accessible to everyone—without breaking the bank.

Behind the scenes at Emberiza Mini’s, I’m supported by a very dedicated (and slightly furry) management team. I have three dogs who firmly believe they help me run the business.

This is Rex, my one-year-old Labrador Retriever, whose main skills include enthusiasm, chaos making, and occasionally stealing stationery. Maisie, my three-year-old Labradoodle, takes her role as emotional support supervisor very seriously and ensures no one is ever left unattended.

Completing the trio is my 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, who works remotely from my desk chair, spending her entire day either sleeping soundly or eating her food—sometimes both with impressive commitment.

So if I’m replying to your emails or messages, there’s a very good chance I have at least one dog on top of me, one under the desk, and another silently judging me from the chair. It’s chaotic, cosy, and very much part of the Emberiza Mini’s experience 🐾

On my days off, you’ll usually find me spending time with my daughter, Remmie, who will be 5 in April and is very much the main character in our household.

She’s currently waiting for her autism assessment, but in the meantime is absolutely thriving at school and teaching me daily lessons in resilience, joy, and seeing the world a little differently. Her personality is everything, full of curiosity, and unforgettable one-liners.

There’s a very good chance you’ll hear about Remmie’s latest antics during our training sessions (usually accompanied by a proud smile and a “you won’t believe what she did…”), because she’s a huge part of why I’m so passionate about supporting families and helping parents feel confident and prepared.

The woman has long dark hair, is dressed in black with black rain boots, and is smiling at the camera. There are pumpkins scattered on the ground and in the background, with a field dotted with pumpkins behind them.
