Level 2 Basic Life Support (4 Hours)

This 4-hour Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to prepare participants to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in both healthcare and community settings.
The course covers:
CPR for adults, children, and infants
use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
effective relief of choking.
Through a combination of instructor-led discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on practice, students will build the confidence and skills needed to act quickly and effectively in emergencies.

BLS is also appropriate for any adult who wants formal, professional-level training in CPR, AED use, and choking relief.

Upon successful completion of this BLS course, participants will be able to:
Recognize cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and choking in adults, children, and infants
Demonstrate high-quality CPR, including correct compression depth, rate, hand placement, and recoil
Perform effective rescue breathes using a barrier device or bag-mask
Safely and correctly operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Provide appropriate care for conscious and unconscious choking victims
Follow current evidence-based guidelines for Basic Life Support

Do I receive a certificate after completing your training?
When you finish the course you will receive a digital copy of your certificate.
You can request printed copies of your certificate for an additional cost of £4 per certificate (including delivery)
